$100 Gas Rebate from the Government?

This has got to be the worst idea I have ever heard....the Republicans want to give all of us a rebate of $100 for gas. I guess that would last about one or two weeks worth of gas. How does that help?

A $100 gas rebate is nothing in the costs to fill up the family gas tanks to go to work. To give everyone $100 would only throw our country deeper into debt.
Why do the Republicans want to throw money at every problem and not fix the problem?

That's about 3 tanks of gas here in LA. And it further bankrupts our already deep-in-the-red government treasury. I don't want $100.00 from the government; I want $1,000.00 from each of those oil executives - that would be like .25 cents to us!

Actually that would only get 2 tanks of gas. I filled up last night. $3.15 a gallon and it racked up a $49.60 charge and most places in Hollywood I saw were $3.33 a gallon.

Toyota has a new concept hybrid pick-up I want. Could be a few years before it makes production though. GMC and Chevy have full size hybrids that cost 30,000 and still only get 19mpg. Yeah, some big advancement at 19mpg...NOT. Why anyone would buy an American car is beyond me. Although the ford hybrid SUV gets 40mpg.
