Planet Pluto: What about us Scorpios?

Pluto's no longer a planet and we Scorpios are once again ruler-less.

At the dawn of the Age of Aquarius, when people really did ask each
other "what's your sign", I became interested in astrology.  (What can I
say, I was a teenager.)  Checked out books from the library, some of
which were so old that they preceded the discovery of Pluto.  In those
old books, astrologers said Scorpio's ruling planet was Mars, same as
Aries', which struck me as very strange considering that Aries and
Scorpio are totally different archetypes.  But after Pluto was
discovered, astrologers said "oh, that explains it" and said Pluto ruled
Scorpio.

So now, what, are we back to Aries or will we Scorpios continue to be
ruled by what amounts to an iceball on steroids?  Either way, I think
Scorpios are being dissed. And I'm not just thinking of myself
here.  I'm ready to file a group grievance from all Scorpios.

These scientists make these decisions and they just don't consider the
larger implications, do they?
