Sam's Club: The Wholesale Version of Wal-Mart
I’m single and Sam's is clearly the king of buying cheap. Some things are best bought in bulk, like tissue, soap, tooth paste, and bottles of cheap water. But most of the food stuff and fruit and veggies are reasonably packaged. And they have a quart of blueberries for $7 when Albertson's had a little tray (about 2-3 tablespoons) for $4/package. Calvin Klein jeans about $23 (generic same thing Sam's brand about$12), Savanna dress slacks $20, regular $40 to 60 or more at a lot of places. Furthermore, Sam's is the only place that will take something back just because you don't like it for whatever reason. The $35 membership is a bargain when you look at how much money you save when shopping at Sam’s Club. I'm eating cherries, blueberries (price has gone up since out of season), fresh fruit mix, frozen salmon, turkey, and so on that I live off of. I have to get my natural Smucker peanut butter from Wal-Mart though, which I got the new giant size jar the other day. To shop anywhere else, after the way Sam's treats me is just almost really dumb. Above everything else Sam’s Club gas prices undercuts everyone! Sam's customers and employees are happy people and its fun to shop there. Looking at all the new TV’s, computers, electronic gadgets, as you browse through even if you don't buy one is also fun plus there are always free samples of food. I get really mad at the distorted hype that is said about Wal-Mart; interesting that their employees keep getting blasted with attorneys and unions and politicians and media and most are still glad to have a job there.
