This could be the best news I have heard in a few weeks. I have felt so deprived since The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and Colbert Report have been off the air. I have been watching too much Fox News or CNN with any spare time and the guilt trip of that is like eating too much vending machine candy (without any nutrients).

I am excited that The Daily Show is coming back on the air. The re-runs are getting old and the politicians have all been getting off the hook easily since Jon Stewart and Colbert have been silenced. I hope the writers strike will come to terms or make some sort of agreement soon so everyone is happy out of the deal. You have to start worrying about more than just the writers but the actual staffs who do the behind the scenes work who will really start struggling to make ends meet.

There should be some sort of compromise. I feel for the writers on one side because I feel that good writers should be paid well and that they should receive pay hikes when the media companies actually get paid on the internet revenue. Right now the media companies are loosing money online so there is no way anyone can get paid on that. It may take a few years to actually make money online as the costs of bandwidth are not cheap. We all know you cannot make money on YouTube videos yet and if you do its just a few pennies per click which does not compare to advertising rates on old media.

I just had to put up that headline since you know everything that has to do with the airlines for some weird reason can be uncomfortable.  The live dinosaur show was amazing though.  I will get to the coach seats later.

Walking with the Dinosaurs was a presentation of “live” dinosaurs with partnership of BBC Worldwide.  They had a timeline of the living creatures with a unique history lesson of their migration to the ending days of their fate.  There are a lot of claims though that are not scientifically proven but overall it was a great show.

The show starts out with one continent and the first living dinos of herbivores and carnivores.  It then goes on to show them fighting and evolving to survive even with natural fires, volcanoes, and vegetation coming and going.

The dinosaurs in “Walking with the Dinosaurs” were so real looking and made the show enjoyable to watch.  This is not only a perfect show to bring the kids but a great show for adults who enjoy history.  This show has a 20 million dollar budget and it shows.  Here are some pics from the arena event starring Tyrannosaurus Rex, Utahraptor, Stegosaurus, and Brachiosaurus.

As for the seating it was in the American Airline center where it seemed where we were sitting in coach seats.  I took a pic of the seats we were in to show you how small these things are.  I think half a person can fit in these things if you are tall or overweight.  I never realized how small the seats are in the American Airlines center until I went there for a show since at Concerts I am standing up the entire time instead of actually sitting down.  Shame on you American for making people squeeze into your small seating and treating us like insects.

I am not sure whether to call it the Grammy’s or the Dixie Chicks Show because it was taken over by the country music superstars on Sunday night.  This was a welcome surprise that the Dixie Chicks took home so many Grammy’s.  Especially after they were shut out by the same people and shut out by their own music genre of Country.  Winning an award on this show normally increases your album sales as well so expect some big ka-ching coming the way of these musical girls.

I am also happy to see that Mary J. Blige took home three Grammy awards.  She just recovered from drug problems and has been through a lot the last few years.  I am glad to see her come back in full swing.  Her performance was kind of lame compared to how active she normally is though.  I like it when she gets more into the music and dances around more.

I was disappointed that other great artists like Hello Goodbye and Madonna who did not get any mentions or awards.  I feel the Grammy’s give too many awards to one group they pick every year and do not bother to spread things out more to everyone who deserves recognition.  This may be a reason we do not get the quality of music that we had once before.  I mean how many awards can John Mayer or Blunt win before everyone turns blue in the face?  It was especially evident this week on 60 minutes when Norah Jones commented about taking home so many awards that she felt “she showed up to a party and ate someone else’s birthday cake.”

Maybe the Grammy committee does not listen to enough music outside of their box.  I am not complaining that the Dixie Chicks took home so many awards but this happens every year and they need to broaden their scope.

I gotta say I did like Donald but he has said some mean things to Rosey this round.  But we all know that the only reason there is drama about Miss USA in the first place is because Donald is out promoting his new season of Apprentice which has had lower ratings in recent years.  Donald Trump is a mastermind at getting publicity when he needs it and starting some sort of drama when he needs it most for ratings.  Look at the drama he started with Martha Stewart last year and here we go again.

Oh yeah another funny tie is that Donald Trump has his own private label vodka but yet doesn’t drink. I think the biggest charity Donald Trump donates to is MADD.  It’s funny that MADD is getting involved in this as well.  I think the MADD group is a little too powerful as it is anyway

Donald Trump is a self-important publicity hound.  Beauty pageants are ridiculous.  And the majority of MADD members aren’t bereaved mothers but just a bunch of old party poops.  The only thing Rosie did wrong was give the great hair spray user extra publicity.

O’Donnell, co-host of the ABC television morning talk show “The View,” said on Wednesday’s show that Trump’s news conference with Tara Conner had annoyed her “on a multitude of levels.”

“Left the first wife, had an affair, left the second wife, had an affair. Had kids both times, but he’s the moral compass for 20-year-olds in America,” O’Donnell said to roars of audience laughter. “Donald, sit and spin, my friend.”

She continued: “He inherited a lot of money. wait a minute, and he’s been bankrupt so many times where he didn’t have to pay. … I just think that this man is sort of like one of those, you know, snake oil salesmen in ‘Little House on the Prairie.’”

“Rosie O’Donnell is disgusting, I mean both inside and out,” Trump shot back on the syndicated entertainment show “The Insider.” “Take a look at her, she’s a slob. She talks like a truck driver. … Her show failed when it was a talk show, she failed on that.

First it was these crazy religious extremists protesting at military funerals, blaming hurricanes on gays, while some of them going after 16-yr-old boys and doing methamphetamines. It seems the religious right is at it again. Just when you think you can sit down without these hypocrites spreading hate and violence they are now doing it in video games.

Yes, the game made for kids just like all video games will more than likely be sitting under a Christmas tree this year of unsuspecting parents. On CNBC today the battle against the religious right based violent video game was Clark Stevens, Co-Director of The Campaign To Defend the Constitution, who appeared On the Money. Stevens is running a campaign to make Wal-Mart aware of the violence in this “Christian” video game that is targeted to young adults and kids. Yes, all video games are targeted to kids whether we like it or not. DefConAmerica.org has asked that Wal-Mart take the video games off their shelves but some claim it is censorship to do so.

Let’s look at the facts about Wal-Mart and their biased censorship. Wal-Mart already censors EVERY SINGLE CD that they sell if it contains lyrics that are obscene or lyrics that Wal-Mart deems not appropriate. Wal-Mart did not even sell Jon Stewart’s Daily Show book a few years ago during Christmas time so why are they carrying this violent Religious right hate game. Wal-Mart is kissing butt to the religious right this year since they have been missing earnings estimates and their stock is failing to please investors.

The game is called Left Behind: Eternal Forces which can be found at Wal-Mart and Sam’s clubs locations. Left Behind: Eternal Forces lets you kill people who do not believe in the same things you do. This is just not a proper way to teach kids and the youth market that it targets to be involved in such hate. That is just as bad as the terrorists that have such radical ideas of suicide bombs.

This brutal game urges born-again Christians to convert or kill others who don’t adhere to their extreme ideology – including Muslims, Jews, and Catholics. While the religious right has not yet come out against this hate and intolerance masquerading as a children’s game, America’s #1 video game seller should know better.

Los Angeles and New York City have always downplayed country radio compared to the sounds of urban but this time they went too far. While country music has not been good to liberals it is still a great music to follow and every city deserves a country radio station. This is a major culture loss in my opinion.

With no Country station left in the LA market, former KZLA listeners are trying to convince someone else to fill the format gap created last week when Emmis switched the station to “Movin 93.9,” with a Rhythmic Pop Contemporary format and Rick Dees in the morning.

The mega-mergers in radio have taken away lots of the best programming and disc jockeys but we still have satellite radio with XM and Sirius. The best way to protest this change if you are a KZLA listener is to turn it to Air America on the AM. That will teach them!

My advice: KZLA should have played more Dixie Chicks.

Would you judge President Bush before you even had the chance to see him in action?  I wouldn’t.  Just like I would not judge Madonna before I saw her live in Concert.  The Pope was invited to watch the heavily entertaining concert but instead criticized it.  That is his loss.  He could have went to the concert then had a leg to stand on and told us of its real meaning which is about love and making different religions and nationalities come together as one.  Madonna is more about unity than most people think.  Her hit “Music” describes it better how she makes the people come together.Hannity and Colmes recently talked about the disco crucifixion scene at the latest Madonna concert and Hannity said that “Madonna is a has-been”.  She is making headlines and could certainly teach Hannity a few things.  Does Sean Hannity get to make out with Britney and Christina Aguilera at the MTV VMA Awards?

Thank God for Artists like Madonna and The Dixie Chicks who stand up to our President and to Fox News slanted journalism.

Madonna donated over 3 million this year to charities and a percentage of her concert earnings to 9-11 families on her last tour.  Madonna has also donated almost 5 million in Kabbalah related charities alone in the last four years.

If you get a chance to watch the Madonna concert on NBC this fall make sure you see it in its entirety.  Better yet, make sure you see it live while shes on tour even if it’s a long flight to another country.  It will be the best concert you have ever seen.  She makes the Rolling Stones, Beyonce, Janet, Mariah Carey, Garth Brooks, and many others look completely lame.  I would say a Madonna concert is something like Cirque de la (amazing dancing scenes), “So You Think You Can Dance”, mixed in with some Madonna and then some George Bush comedy.
