Well if the rapture is here we at least know we can get things for cheap.  But why is it on sale shouldn’t it be free?

Something I really could care less about. All you see on the local and national news today is the endless going on and on about the Pope’s visit to the U.S. The media acts like God himself is walking around and meeting George Bush at the airport. Are they trying to convert everyone over to Catholicism?

Get over it… There are bigger things going on in the world besides the Papal visit but I guess it is a slow news day. Although the Democratic Debate took place in Philadelphia today with Hillobama. From the looks of it ABC really took aim at Obama in a tabloid kind of way. Just like the media going on about the Pope the media cannot seem to stick to the issues of the presidential race. It’s the issues that count not the silly tabloid personal junk that keeps being thrown out.

Thank God for Tivo that I can fast-forward past the Pope’s appearances.

This is why I believe that Churches should be taxed and government should not have any relation to churches.  Mixing of Church and state is lethal to the American way of living.

Recently, Representative Sally Kern, a republican spoke out and compared gays to Islam terrorists. Of course, another confused Republican making untrue statements about gays.

I have seen some good progress in Oklahoma legislature the last few years but a few steps backwards always seems to come in that state when there is progression.  It is sad to see a lady with such a negative attitude and unloving spirit leading in the great state of Oklahoma.

I saw this story about the home with a peace wreath on our local news.  So much for freedom of speech or just plain human freedom.  This neighborhood association has a little too much power and has gone overboard on their authority to homeowners.  I thought everyone wanted PEACE?  The next sign I would put up would be a “For Sale” sign.  I surely would not want to live in a neighborhood with an association that can control your freedom of speech and tell you not to want peace in your life.

They calculated the wreath to cost the resident $1,000 in fines for the thought of peace on her door.  This sure sounds like a very uptight neighborhood that would rather be throwing their kids on the battleground than having them here at home safe for the holidays.  The neighborhood association controls over 200 homes in the Denver, Colorado area.  We sure hear lots of crazy news coming from the conservative nut jobs in Denver.  I bet the tourism takes a hit when no one wants to vacation in such a uptight, neo-conservative, hypocritical area.

The funniest part of the story is that some residents believed the PEACE symbol was a symbol of Satan.  Yes, a peace symbol looking like Satan.  I am amused that people are so ignorant.  Peace is actually one of the symbols of the holiday spirit.  I remember my grandmother used to have NOEL, PEACE, LOVE, JESUS, among other words in her Christmas decorations which were spelled out in little squares.  These neo-conservatives are so crazy they actually think the devil is peace.  It makes you think these neo-conservatives really are the devil hiding in disguise of  “Christians”.

DENVER – A homeowners association in southwestern Colorado has threatened to fine a resident $25 a day until she removes a Christmas wreath with a peace sign that some say is an anti-Iraq war protest or a symbol of Satan.

Yes, you heard right about another religious station in Dallas.  This makes 40% of the stations now on the A.M. dial?  The other 60% or so go to conservative talk shows like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Mike Savage.  Dallas ranks as nations fifth radio market.  Air America leaving a market as big as Dallas does some damage in my opinion especially at an election time.  Was this planned?  Is this part of the Republicans power plan right before the elections to silence the honest hardworking liberals?

Al Franken was promoting his new book in Ft. Worth, TX just two days before Air America went off the air to convert into a religious station.  Franken told the Star Telegram that there is nothing to worry about and “it happens all the time”.

Air America is on XM Satellite radio for those of you who cannot listen anymore – buy a car receiver with XM Satellite and make sure you tell them you are buying it for that reason!

Would you judge President Bush before you even had the chance to see him in action?  I wouldn’t.  Just like I would not judge Madonna before I saw her live in Concert.  The Pope was invited to watch the heavily entertaining concert but instead criticized it.  That is his loss.  He could have went to the concert then had a leg to stand on and told us of its real meaning which is about love and making different religions and nationalities come together as one.  Madonna is more about unity than most people think.  Her hit “Music” describes it better how she makes the people come together.Hannity and Colmes recently talked about the disco crucifixion scene at the latest Madonna concert and Hannity said that “Madonna is a has-been”.  She is making headlines and could certainly teach Hannity a few things.  Does Sean Hannity get to make out with Britney and Christina Aguilera at the MTV VMA Awards?

Thank God for Artists like Madonna and The Dixie Chicks who stand up to our President and to Fox News slanted journalism.

Madonna donated over 3 million this year to charities and a percentage of her concert earnings to 9-11 families on her last tour.  Madonna has also donated almost 5 million in Kabbalah related charities alone in the last four years.

If you get a chance to watch the Madonna concert on NBC this fall make sure you see it in its entirety.  Better yet, make sure you see it live while shes on tour even if it’s a long flight to another country.  It will be the best concert you have ever seen.  She makes the Rolling Stones, Beyonce, Janet, Mariah Carey, Garth Brooks, and many others look completely lame.  I would say a Madonna concert is something like Cirque de la (amazing dancing scenes), “So You Think You Can Dance”, mixed in with some Madonna and then some George Bush comedy.
