If you are into the type of torture we always speak against or for capital punishment you may enjoy this video.  I do not enjoy this because it is sick and twisted watching someone hang.  I think we would be much better off having Saddam Hussein in power in Iraq than the mess that America has created without him in power.  Iran has got more control now without the scare of Saddam Hussein.

If you want to watch the video on You Tube of Saddam being hung here it is: youtube.com/watch?v=motRDwGmfBU.  I advise that you watch it and be prepared to be shocked because it is not easy watching anyone die even someone who has done as much wrong as this powerful ex-leader of Iraq.  I would almost take more interest in hanging Osama Bin Laden than Saddam Hussein but we are after the wrong person as usual.

If you wish to watch the video do it on your own.  Just be prepared to have nightmares of the Wild Wild West days of America.

A better quality life, better roads, better paid teachers, better schools, better airports, better with billions in America without spending billions in a worthless Iraq? I think I would rather have terrorists trying to bomb us over here on our turf since that is what the Republicans are saying is the reason American soldiers are there. Although they wouldn’t be able to since we would have invested more money in better terrorist fighting technology.

I don’t like to think how different our country would be these last six years, it makes me so sad I can hardly stand it. It’s going to take years to undo the mess the Republicans have made, with this war, the government so in debt, the programs you’re talking about slashed to ribbons, the REAL economy (read real people’s economic lives) destroyed. The sad thing is the terrorists don’t need to bomb us; the Republicans have destroyed our country far more effectively than our enemies ever could.

I was sitting at my favorite Mexican restaurant (Manny’s Tex Mex) on the patio in uptown Dallas the other day enjoying my chips and salsa and this crazy motorcade came down the street of every police car you could imagine on the Dallas police force.  Everyone on the patio went up to the fence to see what was going on we thought there was a bomb threat or maybe it was the funeral for the former governor.

Someone yelled it was a parade of some kind for the Dallas police department - must have seen 30 Dallas Police cars -  but I saw some cars that looked more like FBI SUVs, and secret service cars with lights you see in the movies going down the street.  Whenever President Clinton came to visit The University of Central Oklahoma after the Oklahoma Bombing (which I had a premium seat) he was not escorted by so many police!

Anyway it ended up being no other than the President of Pakistan visiting Dallas and Highland Park (the high class neighborhood of Dallas).  Watched him on The Daily Show last night it was a neat interview.  The President of Pakistan was in Paris, TX where he had a medical check up there and visited his good friend the Doctor (small world).  It seems like he is traveling all over the country and appearing on all the talk shows.

After a volatile week of high-level meetings in New York and Washington, Pakistan’s President Pervez Musharraf said Saturday in Highland Park (Dallas, TX) that his trip has helped “clear certain misperceptions” about Pakistan’s role in the war on terror.
