Osama Bin Laden Dead, Killed by US Forces

Osama Bin Laden was shot at least once in the head and his body is in US custody. He was killed in Pakistan. US intelligence officials have been saying that we have been getting some help from the Pakistan government and helped us with the critical tip of taking out Osama Bin Laden.

President Obama just announced that Osama Bin Laden who was the mastermind of 9-11 and other terrorist attacks that the death toll surpassed that of Pearl Harbor has been killed. A brief firefight and his body was retrieved on the battlefield. We can celebrate this as Americans and people across the World can hope for more Peace in that a mastermind of hate is gone.

President George Bush said that Justice will come and congratulated the US Armed Forces and expressed his deep satisfaction.

J Sock got the top secret operation of this. They are a division of the US military.

Now we know why we are putting on the Afghanistan war and hope that we can bring the troops home soon. Osama Bin Laden is dead… Troops can come home and oil can go back to a $1 right

Best tweet I have seen for the night about Osama Bin Laden’s death was “Osama Bin Laden just checked into Hell on Facebook Places and Foursquare.”

President Obama’s speech was something that the Country will remember for years to come and it could not have been better nor have came at a better time. He walked away from the podium with the swag of a King who had just sleighed an enemy. This is a monumental moment in history although it took a decade it is still the biggest accomplishment of Obama and a great day for the nation.

Glen Beck lookalike?

This shooting in Arizona is certainly nothing to joke around about but when you have two crazed people who look so much alike from their facial expression you have to think wow.. We were sent this pic of Glen Beck and how much his expressions go with the guy who tried to assisinate the Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D) last week. Jared Loughner is only 22 years old but he sure does have the crazy Glen Beck look on his face.

Celebrities have been tweeting about this horrible tragic shooting spree this week including Jane Fonda who is blaming Sarah Palin Partially because of all of her re-load and how she put out that website with targets aimed at Reps in certain areas such as Arizona. I watched Glen Beck’s show on Fox earlier tonight and was shocked he was trying to make this guy sound more like a total nut job instead of a right-wing nut. He then listed off things that made the guy “nutty” such as he did not believe we did not goto the moon and that the US government was involved in the 911 attack. This kind of made it sound like Glen was trying to persuade his viewers to “think” he hated George Bush and that he was a left nut.

Shocking Muslim Comment

Yahoo News reported that Chancellor Angela Merkel said that “Germany’s attempt to create a multi-cultural society has failed completely” calling on the country’s immigrants to learn German and adopt Christian values. Then I kept reading the posts below this article and noticed this one. They seemed to get some of the stats right on this post for example the percentage of Muslims in France at 8-10%. You cannot assume though that they are taking over and going to hurt anyone out of their religion though. This is a very racist comment if you ask me and I thought I would share it because it was shocking.

As long as the Muslim population remains around 1% of any given country they will be regarded as a peace-loving minority and not as a threat to anyone. In fact, they may be featured in articles and films, stereotyped for their colorful uniqueness:

United States — Muslim 1.0%
Australia — Muslim 1.5%
Canada — Muslim 1.9%
China — Muslim 1%-2%
Italy — Muslim 1.5%
Norway — Muslim 1.8%

At 2% and 3% they begin to proselytize from other ethnic minorities and disaffected groups with major recruiting from the jails.

Denmark — Muslim 2%
Germany — Muslim 3.7%
United Kingdom — Muslim 2.7%
Spain — Muslim 4%
Thailand — Muslim 4.6%

From 5% on they exercise an inordinate influence in proportion to their percentage of the population.
They will push for the introduction of halal (clean by Islamic standards) food, thereby securing food preparation jobs for Muslims. They will increase pressure on supermarket chains to feature it on their shelves — along with threats for failure to comply. ( United States ).

France — Muslim 8%
Philippines — Muslim 5%
Sweden — Muslim 5%
Switzerland — Muslim 4.3%
The Netherlands — Muslim 5.5%
Trinidad &Tobago — Muslim 5.8%

At this point, they will work to get the ruling government to allow them to rule themselves under Sharia, the Islamic Law. The ultimate goal of Islam is not to convert the world but to establish Sharia law over the entire world.
When Muslims reach 10% of the population, they will increase lawlessness as a means of complaint about their conditions ( Paris –car-burnings). Any non-Muslim action that offends Islam will result in uprisings and threats ( Amsterdam – Mohammed cartoons).

Guyana — Muslim 10%
India — Muslim 13.4%
Israel — Muslim 16%
Kenya — Muslim 10%
Russia — Muslim 10-15%

After reaching 20% expect hair-trigger rioting, jihad militia formations, sporadic killings and church and synagogue burning:
Ethiopia — Muslim 32.8%

At 40% you will find widespread massacres, chronic terror attacks and ongoing militia warfare:

Bosnia — Muslim 40%
Chad — Muslim 53.1%
Lebanon — Muslim 59.7%

From 60% you may expect unfettered persecution of non-believers and other religions, sporadic ethnic cleansing (genocide), use of Sharia Law as a weapon and Jizya, the tax placed on infidels:

Albania — Muslim 70%
Malaysia — Muslim 60.4%
Qatar — Muslim 77.5%
Sudan — Muslim 70%

After 80% expect State run ethnic cleansing and genocide:

Bangladesh — Muslim 83%
Egypt — Muslim 90%
Gaza — Muslim 98.7%
Indonesia — Muslim 86.1%
Iran — Muslim 98%
Iraq — Muslim 97%
Jordan — Muslim 92%
Morocco — Muslim 98.7%
Pakistan — Muslim 97%
Palestine — Muslim 99%
Syria — Muslim 90%
Tajikistan — Muslim 90%
Turkey — Muslim 99.8%
United Arab Emirates — Muslim 96%

100% will usher in the peace of ‘Dar-es-Salaam’ — the Islamic House of Peace — there’s (supposed) to be peace because everybody is a Muslim: we know however that this isnt true is it…?

Afghanistan — Muslim 100%
Saudi Arabia — Muslim 100%
Somalia — Muslim 100%
Yemen — Muslim 99.9%

Of course, that’s not the case. To satisfy their blood lust, Muslims then start killing each other for a variety of reasons…and they are coming to a neighborhood near you…so keep thinking they are not going to harm you and they “accept” you

Tea Party Candidate Summary

Who are these Tea party people we keep hearing so much about? Here is a quick breakdown:

There is a movement in the United States right now that may change the face of the political landscape for generations. An offshoot of the Republican Party, the Tea Party has managed to gain notoriety thanks in large part to their knocking off moderate and establishment Republicans in Primaries and setting themselves up for national election wins or at least competition. Some Tea Partiers have little shot of actually winning a seat but the fact that they were able to represent a party that wants very little to do with them shows the kind of power they are developing. Other Tea Partiers have a legitimate shot at going to Washington and attempting to evoke their own brand of politics on the Nation’s Capital.

Joe Miller – Miller is one Tea Partier who seems like a shoo-in to win one of the United States Senate seats representing Alaska. A virtual unknown, having little political experience before the Republican Primary he managed to unseat long time Republican incumbent Lisa Murkowski in a race that was too close to calls even days after the polls had closed.

Miller claims to be a strict Constitutionalist and deeply fiscally conservative. He says that Americans are not allowed to live beyond their means and that the federal government should cut spending in order to cut the deficit.

Christine O’Donnell — O’Donnell, who has long been a strong advocate for conservative religious beliefs as a political pundit also came out of nowhere to take the Republican nod for Vice President Joe Biden’s vacated Senate Seat. Republican Congressman Mike Castle was the GOP’s choice for the seat and after holding double digit leads as late as a week before the primary he was toppled. O’Donnell’s primary win briefly formed a schism within the Republican Party with luminaries like Karl Rove saying she had no chance of winning the general.

Despite being a Tea Party darling, it appears that Rove was right as O’Donnell has recently showed up more than 20 points behind the Democratic candidate for the seat, Mike Coons. This is actually a seat that was predicted to be a Republican blowout if Castle had won the primary and many Democrats have been celebrating since O’Donnell’s win.

“Dan Maes” – Maes is running for Governor of Colorado and like Miller and O’Donnell was not the favorite to win the GOP nomination before his victory. Unfortunately for Maes the success seems to have gone to his head. Claims that Denver is engaging in a socialist plot with the United Nations, and then even more bizarre claims that he used to work for the Kansas Police department as an undercover agent (Kansas Law Enforcement has said they have no knowledge of him working with them) have made the Tea Party step away from the candidate. This is another spot that was a Republican shoo-in before the Tea Partier won the nomination and will now almost assuredly go to the Democrats.

Mike Lee – Lee, like Miller appears headed to Washington. The Utah Republican Senate nominee knocked off incumbent Bob Bennett in the primaries and will most likely get the nod in the general election in the conservative state. Lee is a former clerk to Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito and says that he is staunchly fiscally conservative. Lee actually had to beat out another Tea Partier to get his party’s nomination.

Texas Election 2010: Collin and Dallas County

Not sure who you are going to vote for this election or what is even on the ballot in your precinct? I had the same problem and searched and looked everyone on the web and circled around until finally I found a ballot creator.  The Dallas Morning News normally gives a summary of the elections but good luck trying to sift through all the articles and all the political mess online to find it.  After seeing sites such as the Examiner pop up everywhere it was a relief to be able to fill out this ballot form and compare candidates. There are things that Libertarians stand for that Democrats may not with each candidate and I would never just vote straight party such as Republican, Democrat, Independent, or Libertarian.

Of course 2010 is different than most.  This year you have lots of Tea Party candidates who are running on the Republican side who are really just far right republicans with really big mouths and probably big guns if they want to shoot someone or something.  They probably know nothing about Tea or anything about the Boston Tea Party but they are a façade that won’t go away.

Thevoterguide.org/v/dallas is a very useful took I found to decide which candidates and issues I will be voting on before November 2nd.  How about am I even registered to vote?  You can look it up online if you are not sure if your voter id card is expired or not.  Here you can search for this from the Texas Secretary of State’s site directly.

So what are the issues if you live in Collin County which is a part of Dallas Texas? Here is how I plan on voting during the early voting in a few weeks:

U.S. House, District 3

John Lingenfelder (D) vs. Sam Johnson (R) vs. Christopher Claytor (L) who really didn’t have much to say but that he was a Baptist.  John Lingenfelder is Founder of the “Plano Solar Initiative” a community based group that worked with the City of Plano to discover innovative ways to fund solar-based energy alternatives for residences and small business.

Texas Senate, District 8

Ed Kless (L), Small Business Consultant vs.  Florence Shapiro (R), Texas State Senator – I am gonna have to go with Ed Kless the Libertarian on this one.  While voting for any Libs scares me in this election because I am not liking what I see in the Tea Party candidates who seem fake and there for political gain to swing republicans to the right I do like Ed’s responses here and Texas needs lower property taxes and budget cuts in the right places.  I totally agreed with what Ed Kless said about reducing prisons and the releasing non-violent prisoners.

Texas House, District 67

Well this is sad that no one is running against Jerry Madden (R).  He did not even respond to the Dallas Morning News but then again why does he need to.  I should have ran my dog against him maybe he would have won.

Governor of Texas Election

Rick Perry (R) vs. Kathie Glass (L) , Lawyer  vs. Deb Shafto (G) , retired p-12 school teacher vs. Bill White (D), former Houston Mayor – Going with Bill White on this one he managed Houston and hopefully can do a good job with our great state of Texas.  Rick Perry has been refusing to show up at debates and has been carrying on the Bush Legacy it’s time for a change in Texas to Democratic leadership.  I just hope they do not take away our toll roads.

Lt Governor

Linda Chavez-Thompson (D), Retired vs. David Dewhurst (R), Lt. Governor vs. Scott Jameson (L) Realtor and computer consultant  – this is a tough one I am kind of liking the thinking of Scott Jameson although bragging about your CHL  when asked if you have been arrested before is kind of changing the subject do you think he may have something to hide?  I liked his answers except on that question.

Attorney General

Greg Abbott (R), Attorney General of Texas vs.  Barbara Ann Radnofsky (D), Mediator/Attorney vs.

Jon Roland (L), Director of Constitution Society

State Comptroller

Susan Combs (R) Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts vs  Edward Lindsay (G), Retired Educator vs.

Mary J. Ruwart (L), Educator

Land Commissioner

James L. Holdar (L), Retired Civil Engineer and Professional Land Surveyor vs

Jerry Patterson (R) Commissioner, Texas General Land Office vs

Candidate picture

Hector Uribe (D)

Attorney / Government Consultant/ Ranch Manager

Agriculture Commissioner

Rick Donaldson (L), Naturla and Organic Farmer Rancher vs   Hank Gilbert (D) Rancher, Small Business Owner vs Todd Staples (R) Texas Commissioner of Agriculture – Hands down the Organic Farmer Rancher Rick Donaldson on this ballot issue and this one may be more important than we think when it comes to our everyday health here in Texas.

Railroad Commissioner

Art Browning (G), Roger Gary (L). David Porter(R) currently a CPA, vs Jeff Weems (D) Oil and Gas Attorny.

Texas Supreme Court, Place 3

Jim Sharp (D) vs. Debra Lehrmann (R) current sitting Texas Supreme Court Justice vs. William Bryan Strange III (L)

Texas Supreme Court, Place 5

Paul Green (R), Justice, Supreme Court of Texas  vs  Bill Moody (D) Jude, 34th District Court  vs

Tom Oxford (L)

Texas Supreme Court, Place 9

Blake Bailey (D) attorney

Court Of Criminal Appeals, Pl. 2

J. Randell Stevens (L)Lawyer

Court Of Criminal Appeals, Pl. 5

Dave Howard (L) Attorney vs Cheryl Johnson (R)

Court Of Criminal Appeals, Pl. 6

Keith Hampton (D)Attorney  vs  Michael E. Keasler (R) Judge, Texas Court of Criminal Appeals vs Robert Ravee Virasin (L)

Fifth Court of Appeals, Place 4

Bonnie Lee Goldstein (D) Attorney vs  Lana Myers (R) Justice, 5th District Court of Appeals, Place 4

Texas Fifth District Court of Appeals

Robert M. (Bob) Fillmore (R) Justice vs Lawrence J. Praeger (D) Attorney at Law

State Board of Education, Dist. 12

George M. Clayton (R)Educator, Administrator for English Language Arts, Academic Coordinator North Dallas High School vs Amie Parsons (L)  Self Employed

Collin County Judge

Keith Self (R)  County Judge vs David Smith (D) Environmental and Political Consultant

Dallas City-Owned Hotel

There is a fierce fight going on in the City of Dallas over a hotel.  This issue is very misleading though because most of the snail main brochures I have gotten on the issue are for the Vote Yes and they all claim its like some socialist type hotel.  The truth is that it will not be ran by the City of Dallas but by a private organization.  Omni Hotels, known for a hotel chain across the country will run the convention center hotel.
The group against the hotel makes the claim that the Mayor Tom Leppert is arrogant and that Dallas does not need a hotel connected to the convention center.  Well as someone that goes to conventions all the time I can assure you that YES we do need one connected if we intend on getting bigger conventions.

This is the time to build one because in a bad economy prices are cheaper to build new things and plan for the future. Also, in a bad economy companies will look to cities such as Dallas to have their conventions instead of Vegas.

Will this increase taxes to build this hotel? The claim on Leppert’s part is no it will help keep taxes down to draw in more revenue.  That is hard to predict though.  I am on the side of less government and less spending unless its needed.  I do think the better way to have this project done is to have the entire thing privately done.  Possibly get Omni hotels or Starwood hotels to invest in the project completely. If a hotel will not invest in the project completely then we can take on the project ourselves.

Black Man in the White House

I downloaded a song the other day titled “there is a black man in the white house.”  I think that anyone white or black will be excited for this day in our lives.  For a black man to get past slavery and be the top job in American that is something else!  There is also a black woman in the White House.  Talk about a new day!

I watched the inauguration again on Fox News when they replayed it.  It was all pretty interesting to watch again.  The prayer from Warren I thought was OK but nothing that great.  He said the names of Obama’s kids very strangely.. But wished I could have been there sitting with Bill and Hill to watch the event.  I’m surprised Chelsea was not there she shows up everywhere.

The other bishop was on the Daily Show– here is the full show you have to watch a wendys commercial and fast forward to see it.

Just listened to some of Obama’s speech again and I love the part where he warns other countries about invading us and others by saying your people will judge you on what you build not what you break.. its great to not be thought of as a country that is a bully anymore but as a leader and set a good example.  Also like the part where he says we are starting out friends with every country and everyone if you unfist your hands.. (not word for word of course).

New Political Blog for Conservative Issues

First of all, this is a blog for Progressive politics but in a way that we seek progression through less government but without cutting out government regulation such as the FDA.  The FCC that might be another story since its really done nothing but let XM and Sirius merge and that ended up bad for consumers. This blog is your Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow listeners who are open minded and want to know about Bush Gate, see Palin make a fool out of hersef, among other things.  We love to see change and see Hillary and Obama take back the country from 8 years of economical fallout including the devastating loss of lives and money in Iraq.

While I have mostly turned into a Libertarian because they share more values with me than the Democratic party there is just no way to vote big L each time. I found that mostly judges have more a chance of winning as libertarians than bigger political offices.  I am for less gvmt, less taxes, and a more fair tax system.  I want more privacy without all these post-911 “terrorist” privacy invasions.  That means less freedom for all Americans.

Then you have bloggers who tend to be on the side of the religious right who are just hardcore do not care what anything but what they think they have been told to do by the higher power.  These untaxed churches or organizations who will rather spend money on things such as Proposition 8 than give money to the homeless or help raped girls are what you call the religious right.

What do the true Conservatives have to say on issues?
Although I did happen to see this blog that spoke of some better, more traditional values here in America coming from a Republican or Conservative who is scared of where the nation is headed.  He looks in his brokerage account everyday and feel its Obama coming in office that is making things go the wrong direction.  He has strong opinions on Gold, Oil, and Politics… and you may want to add Sports into the mix of the blog over at goldoilpolitics.com.  If you are worried about paying higher taxes under an Obama administration or if you are worried that unions are the problem with GM and Ford then turn over to the blog and POST your comments.

If you find a political blog that gets peoples bloods flowing or is a blog with some good facts cited let us know.  We love to find newsworthy, funny, and resource blogs for politics and money online.  Nothing wrong with 5 or 6 more blogs in our RSS Reader.

Affirmative Action Days Are Up

The days of giving one race seniority over another in job interviews should be over now that Obama is elected president.  It would not only prove a good thing for the country to rid itself of affirmative action but it would no longer make people feel like they are a minority.  Everyone is basically a minority of something these days not just a white person who affirmative action seems to discriminate against.

We need to set the bar higher now for everyone since we have seen how far Obama can go.  It is time for affirmative action to be let go on the Federal and state level.  We see the change in Nebraska and should see it in other cities.

Blacks hate gays?

Do black people hate gays?  It seems the Mormons and the black churches were big against the proposition 8 in the California vote this year.  It makes me wonder if these bigot black people were against gay people like that?

They had to have their cake and eat it to to discriminate against gay people’s rights but be for black rights with their vote for Obama.  They should be ashamed of themselves for voting against gays rights such as Ellen Degeneres who got married to someone she is in love with.  How dare these black congregations go up against gays who have lived years with hate against them.  How dare these black congregations let these lies win over the facts when it comes to gay rights.  These misleading commercials about gays wanting to teach kids about gay marriage is junk.

I was happy about Obama being elected but saddened when I heard that Sally Kerns in Oklahoma City got re-elected after calling gays terrorists.  Proposition 8 passed in California against gay rights and gay marriage and Florida voted against gay marriage.  Their are so many people who just have a hate for someones rights other than their own.  Even though they pay the same taxes as you DO.  Shouldnt someone who pays the same f-ing taxes have the same rights??
