Destructive Behavior

These Hamburgers are a perfect example of how people have become insane with materialism. People have no sense of social conscience. They will buy insensible products like this because they can. It's no different than paying $75,000 for a Hummer. When are people going to wake up to what impact their attention to ridiculous items have on the world.
People are focused on shiny and new and not on what's wise to obtain.
The people of this country are sleep walking through the possibility of great change. Only listening to what the biased and controlled media spells out as the 'REALITY'.

We have the opportunity to develop a nation with a strong global awareness. We could become the leaders of the world instead of just acting like we are. We have to live our words not just put them on a poster and look at it once in awhile. True leadership promotes a true reflective nature and the understanding that everyone must take responsibility for their own choices. If we want others to put their weapons away we must put ours away first. We must live by example not by force.

America has become lazy and unaware of it's destructive behaviors.
Americans for the most part have co-opted a reality of the un-examined life. Eating what ever they want without consideration of where it came from, what life had to be disrespected to obtain it and what long lasting effects it will have on their health or the health of the biosphere. We care not where our products are made or who has to suffer in order for us to buy it quickly and cheaply.

Until people truly awake to their human potential they will only be consumers busily distracted by a capitalistic illusion of life. Take control of you life by training your attention to things that truly matter.
Money is a lonely and soulless pursuit. Owning things makes you the king of things. Be a King of worthwhile experiences. Be a philosopher.
Think of where you can make a difference. Take action now. Be something more than a mere consumer. Be a radical humanitarian. Care about the many faceless others and after time you will see your face in theirs.
In time with enough effort and patience you will begin to see how you are inextricably linked to all that is. When you reach this point you will have no option but to live a life of peace and wonder. This is the beauty of GOD. We are GOD expressed in physical form.
