Dixie Chicks comments on Iraq

I saw this article in Time Magazine about Rick Rubin, the producer for the Dixie Chicks and apparently half the rest of the music world. He was up for best producer (don't know if he won) but in any case, very interesting article, I like the style in which he gets the artists to produce their best. Anyway, I probably wouldn't have read it if not for your emails re the Grammies so I thank you and hope you enjoy the article if you have time to read it...

The Dixie Chicks have the right to support terrorism and

bash the prez of the US -which in turn gets Americans killed. This group has never seemed to show that much understanding of what is at stake in the Mideast. Bush tried to do what was right, but without support of enough people and countries -and a really poor military/political strategy has made the situation into lose-lose unless people and countries can be rallied to stand up against peoples that learn from birth that killing Americans/Jews and anyone standing next to us is a ticket to heaven.

I don't see that forthcoming in leaders/media/population that worry more about what plane the speaker is riding in -than the threat of Iran/Russia fully armed with nukes against the US.
