Letter to the Editor:  Halliburton an American Hero

Halliburton, the American Hero.  a strictly Brett Thompson revue,  --J looks at some of the reasons that dems are for a large part:  liars, hypocrites, and morons --largely for their company mission of justifying lying -and destroying American values, companies, for the sake of putting a dem in the white house.

I worked side by side with an ex-Halliburton employee.  Some of his words on Halliburton were too much work and too much having to move.

All of the lying on Halliburton, Cheney, any of the current administration about Iraq and all of those involved in bashing HAL are liars, anti-American, anti-patriotic, and are killing Americans and America. 
1.  Halliburton is a company of 104,000 employees, 32B market cap.  If you put any large company under a scope -you can find things going on that are not right.  On a % basis, you will find more tax evasion on individuals, small and large gov operations, small biz, and mom and pop operations --than the larger companies.  So if you choose to spend your massive leftist monies/media/politics to kill great American companies --then sometimes you win --- congratulations!
2.   Cheney and many other politicians gave up zillions of dollars to go into public office making Cheney one of the greatest heroes of our time.  Personally, I believe it is wrong for a politician to give up wealth that he spent his life accumulating -holding a stake in America makes a politician work for America -get it?  Of course, going into public office - a politician may have to re-allocate to own as much Wal-mart as Target to keep America on an even course so the employees of both companies are protected from unfair, lying, and ignorant attacks.
3.  Halliburton employees from the CEO to the most recent hired grunt are some

of the biggest American heroes of all time.  These lying dems like Pelossiki never once went to work with the worry of getting a bullet in the spine, or getting kidnapped and their head sent to their family, or being mutilated in a suicide bombing.  No, not any understanding here -just ignorant morons looking to lay a dem into office.  The work of Halliburton employees in Iraq (suffering the most loses of any company) has been nothing short of heroism.  they have sacrificed their family life to try to help out in a country that may not have hope --due to the lack of patriotism in the US and all of Europe forgetting the  almost .5M Americans died in WW2.
4.   Was there kickbacks, graft, and corruption?  Well duh, anything that has ever involved the government has all of the above.  From a street project in Tennessee to building a bridge in Alaska the whole thing has its good, bad, & ugly.  And many of you don't have a clue about terms like fubar -a wartime term used to indicate just how screwed up the war effort was.  Add wartime to government overall inability to successfully run a license tag renewal -and you have tremendous loss of ability to succeed.
5.   No bid contracts.  Folks, there has always been more kickbacks, graft, and corruption when bids are made than otherwise.  In time of war do you want the lowest bidder supporting your troops?  Hey, the dems do!
6.   No bid contracts.  Folks, a smart president should name the best people to do most of the work as security/intelligence can provide.  -to tie up deciding contracts on bidding/political bickering and lies/media bickering and is absurd in time of war.
7.   No bid contracts.  Did bush follow thru on bad things happening in the contracts?  Probably not -I would guess a reluctant choice of trying to sidestep the timing of getting something done vs. the new world we live in of democrats in a knock-down rush to bash anything in America that is right.
8.  No bid contracts.  Folks, it has been documented that Halliburton was the only Company capable of handling most of the work in Iraq.  The dems are just plain liars -once again the dem mission of any lie is justified to put a dem in office takes precedence.
9.  Hillary last week:  "subprime will take down the whole American economy".  Dems are praying for failure in Iraq, failure in the American economy to promote their cause.  Everything dems stand for creates failure for America:  isolationism, in bed with attorneys, higher taxes, and unions.  I hate to include unions -unions are have always been an important part of the US, -but the new global economy has forced unions into fighting for survival -and this includes joining in on the overall Dem blog for office at any cost to America.  Tax revenues, reduction of the budget deficit, lowest unemployment in decades, etc. have all been mainly due to the bush tax cuts -- and the dems want to repeal these tax cuts such as dividends --and go after more of your tax dollar.  the new age of dems are a vote for liars/socialists/communists/dictators/etc. -not sure if there is a word to cover all of that more accurately with less typing -but you get the jest of it.
10.  HAL to Dubai - Dems are the ultimate hypocrite.  while the ignorant -especially dems are celebrating Hal moving to Dubai -this was caused to a large part by the dems/media left ignorant -that continue to bash any company with repub ties.  Corporations need capital to be profitable and if they can be more profitable outside the US -then guess what? 
dems have a relentless bashing/searching for problems with Hal and most American corporations.
  The nerve for dems to bash Hal as Un-American --or cowards for moving to Dubai- these same dems should have recognized the contribution by Hal from the top down to take on the almost impossible task of helping in Iraq.  It was the dems who are the anti-Americans for not supporting Hal/Cheney/Bush during this time of war.
  Dems are liars.  Wal-Mart is the biggest single support for the low income/middle class to pay their bills -and dems would shoot their grandmother for a chance to see Walmart fail.  To claim to be the party for middle class and poor; and do everything possible to make Wal-Mart fail does not add up.
  Dems could grow up a bit if they listened to guys like Henry Paulson and Bernake.  Paulson -another American hero -gave up zillions at Goldman Sachs to work in public office.
  Anti Iraq war slogans, songs, rhetoric are mostly anti-American and anti-patriotic and kill Americans.  One of the big reasons for this truth:  these folks are not giving you an exit strategy as to what will become of the mid-east.  Part of the truth lies in the fact Israel may first strike a country that has as part of their religion to kill all Israeli people.  We need to investigate strategy that helps the world become more peaceful -running out of Iraq could be the most un-American choice in history.

You could hardly call it "running out of Iraq" - We have been there 4 yrs. and most of the guys coming home can't run anymore.... Chaney and Bush are serving the public " while filling their pockets"..you can do both. You are unbelievable. You republicans never fail to amaze me with how you "worship" these corrupt people. Hallelujah!

Under oath? Would it do any good? I think they'd just lie, no prob. It's going to take some investigative journalism and some real patriots to come out and tell the truth about what's going on...a death-defying feat for any who do...

I will have to agree with some of the points made about Halliburton (without all of the name calling).  There are not many companies who would jump at going to Iraq or people for that matter.  Yes, It makes them heroes in a way (the employees).  It is just too bad that most of it is in vain.

I am not sure about the no-bid part if there was even time after 9-11 for bids.  So that may not really be an issue.

I think the most patriotic thing is really to end this war and save the lives of thousands of more troops.  If you are a blood thirsty person and get kicks off wrestling and fighting and watching people killing each other then you may enjoy this type of war where we are loosing.  You may also enjoy sending our hard earned money over to Iraq to be wasted.  These idiots in Iraq have fought for hundreds of hundreds of years of unstable mess over there -- let those countries all blow each others heads off and we can keep our troops and money away from that mess-o-potania. 

These people are religious extremists and there is just nothing we can do to stop them over there.  We should spend that money building up anti-missile defenses like Star Wars and more technology to defend America's coasts.
