Pelosi plane accusations

Republicans could still have more scandals to come: Mary Fallin

Are you a Joe the Plumber Fan?

Republican View of Pelosi and Democrats control of the House and Senate

Pelosi is spoiled, brainless, and generally irritating to listen to.  Too bad the Democrats are taking charge with a lot of not very smart folks.  I always try to vote for the best, regardless of party, -but these planless, anti-biz, oil, pharmaceuticals’, Democrats are going to be a real challenge for the US future.  Republicans obviously were not very bright to not show signs of improvement in Iraq.  George W. Bush thought the population could see that the Dems were lying on Iraq -but hindsight never won a football game.
I hope and pray for a very impossible but divided Iraq -these factions just appear too far apart to live together.  Giving credit where due, I think George W. Bush has handled defeat with a real class act.

Economic Fears of Democratic Power
When the market figures out that gridlock is not in play, and that democrats are out to kill business, the market will surely go down.  But estimating markets is a bit tough especially with a democratic controlled congress and senate- we may see gridlock for a few years.

One of many democratic issues that will not be faced:  For every dime that big oil earnings has gone up >40% went to the government --where did the government spend it?  Did it go to alternative energy?  Of course it would help if politicians had some grasp of the problem.  No democrat has yet to face the issue-- legislate only vehicles that get 40+ mpg by 2008, 50+ mpg by 2010, and then you start the biz of facing the problem with American energy policy.

Taking away the dividend tax benefit --give me a break, what political lying.  As if the rich can't find tax avoidance of some kind.  Take investment money away from companies and put it in tax loopholes like treasury bonds and guess what -companies have no money to invest and the US economy will be eaten alive by dictator countries with all of the resources.

Republican View of Wal-Mart
The idea that a few workers walk off the job for a protest

against Wally really burns me up.  The world's largest retailer -if some one-sided story impresses anyone with Wal-Mart being evil, they are surely way deep in the union obsession.  Wal-Mart for 99% of the people that ever worked there/shopped there improved their std of living -just the fact for what that might be worth.  Most of the employees that work at Wal-Mart are working there because they could not find a better job for the resume they had.  Most of the consumers that shop at Wal-Mart buy lower prices then they could get elsewhere.   The abundance of windfall law suits, lawyers, liberal judges, government/media lying, and so on makes Wal-Mart the #1 target hurting those that work there and shop there.   Unions have a great place in American history, but the global economy for the last 10 years has caused a lot of pain for workers/shoppers because of unions.  Personally, the idea that you would want corporate profits going outside the US or to mafia groups or some little family in Connecticut or California, when Wal-Mart helps our home state/univ/biz with their profits does not make any sense.   I grew up in NW Arkansas and will always defend any business that helps the people/schools/biz in that area.

Republican View of Rush Limbaugh
Rush Limbaugh used to be a class act, as much as dems/liberals hated him -he always did his homework.  Rush making outlandish statements was fun, but he always had the facts to back it up.  This thing with Fox went too far, it was almost as if rush was working for the democrats –no one in a conservative camp would approve of bashing Michael J. Fox.  Acting or not, how to approach stem cell research is not even the issue, the issue is a guy trying to work for a cause that took my mom's life and realistically will probably have no cures for the next two or three hundred years

Responses to Republican views:

I couldn't get through your whole post, before I had to reply. I couldn't get past "Dems are a going to be a real challenge for the US future" and "George W. Bush thought the population could see that the dems were lying on Iraq".
On the first statement: how could anything, anything, ANYTHING be worse than what we've had? There are so many people dead because of the lying, scheming, treasonous SOBs who've been running the show, both here and abroad, that a learning disabled class would have done a better job. There wouldn't be a US future under unopposed, neo-con one-party rule, because they were dismantling the constitution as quickly as they could, and that document is America. On your second statement: Bush lied to all of us to get us into a war. No one outside the neo-con KoolAid drinkers seriously questions that anymore.
As I've said before, I'm not a democrat, but damn, let them step in and take a shot; they can't possibly do worse than President Gump, Darth Cheney and their lying, thieving, perverted minions.
We were created to be a system of checks-and-balances. Now, we are again. No matter how you slice it, if you love America, that's a good thing.
